Must be 19 years old and hold a valid IN alcohol permit. Prior experience in full- service restaurant preferred, but will train if needed.

Job Description

Ensures guest receives immediate friendly and personalized service to build guests confidence and relations

Maintains full knowledge of all menu items served and utilizes suggestive selling techniques

Guide guests through menu, answer questions thoroughly and provide specific item suggestions or item outages

Takes orders and delivers food and beverages in a timely manner

Maintain positive guest satisfaction by exceeding service expectations Handles guest complaints or directs them to manager

Inputs all orders in POS system accurately

Operate POS system with high level of efficiency and practice proper cash handling procedures by properly organizing and handling large amounts of cash

Set up and break down equipment and supplies in server area

Maintain work areas by organizing and cleaning service stations

Pre-bus tables of all used glass/plate/silverware, etc.

Scrapes, racks, and stacks all glass/plate/silverware properly in dishwashing area

Perform final check on the quality of food and beverages and ensure all items and condiments are accounted for before they are served to guests

Delivers food and/or beverage items for own and others' tables with or without trays

Assists management in training new team members within your department

Performs all opening, running, and closing duties and tasks as assigned and moves with a sense of urgency

Carries no more than 3 plates or beverages at one time, ensuring the bottom of one plate is not resting on the top of another

Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices

Adheres to all policies and procedures of company as established

Silverware wrapping at the end of shift

Ensures all items are properly rang in before distributing check to guests Ensure guest receives and pays for appropriate bill before leaving the restaurant
